During our Christmas stay, we were delighted with the warm welcome and helpfulness of our host. They provided us with a wide range of bathroom accessories and the necessary tea/coffee/biscuits to make our stay comfortable. the location of the B&B was also a positive aspect, with stunning views and easy access to various areas and trails in the surrounding region.
One aspect that we found disappointing was the size of the bedroom, which felt quite cramped. we were under the impression that the B&B would be located in the village, but it turned out to be a bit outside.

The value for money at this hotel is excellent, especially considering the delicious breakfast made with fresh local ingredients. The view from the room is breathtaking and the attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and amenities is commendable. The location of the hotel on top of the Wolds is perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside and going for long walks.
No area for improvement mentioned.

This hotel was a hidden gem. The stunning location with its great views and proximity to lovely places and trails made our stay absolutely delightful. The service from the friendly and helpful staff, especially Irene, was top-notch. The comfortable and well-equipped rooms provided everything we needed, including a thoughtful treat of chocolates and biscuits every day. The breakfast was exceptional, with locally sourced and tasty options that were the best I have had in years. The cleanliness of the hotel was evident throughout, and the delightful views from our room made it even more memorable.
The only slight downside was occasional noise from outside when motorcycle races were happening nearby, but overall, our experience was fantastic.
